Highlights of the FT Supervisors Meeting:

~~ A sewer rate increase of $30 to $45 is expected to take effect in January

~~ Preliminary design work on the sewer project will continue through November

~~ Work is expected to start in about six weeks on installing left turn lights at the Foster Brook intersction

~~ Police are getting grant money to put on extra patrols for "Buckle Up PA" and the state's anti-agressive driving program which will go from November 19 until the end of the year. In short, "buckle up and slow down," said the supervisors and Chief Tom Munn.

~~ Road Superintendent Mike Fox said he is trying to come up with a solution to the not-so-straight lines and and his crews painted with their new equipment. "I've lost a lot of sleep over the squiggly lines," he said.

~~A railroad representative has been invited to a meeting to discuss traffic tie-ups on Bolivar Drive

~~ A work session on the sewer lines/PENNVEST will be held at 6:30 p.m. on November 15. A budget work session will be held at 6 p.m. November 27.
