Tractor-Trailer, Car Collide on I-86
Three people were hurt when a car and tractor-trailer collided this morning on I-86 in the Town of North Harmony.
Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by 28-year-old Holly Sharma of St. Louis Missouri, was attempting to pass the tractor-trailer at 6:45 a.m. when the truck, driven by 41-year-old Raymond Hickey of Erie, veered into the car and forced it off the highway into an embankment.
Sharma and her three passengers were taken by ambulance to WCA Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Hickey was not hurt but was cited for making an unsafe lane change.
